Software Engineers

Job Purpose:

Integrate an off-the-shelf e-commerce solution into our current system by developing integration strategies; designing, developing, and implementing integrations; validating system performance.  We currently have a solution in place and need to migrate the data and certain functions over to the new shopping cart.

Duties:

• Develops e-commerce integration strategy by identifying key commerce objectives; analyzing existing enterprise systems and processes; identifying data and process flows and integration points; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle; defining partnering requirements; preparing and delivering presentations.
  
  
• Designs integration by identifying enabling and integration solution framework; translating e-commerce needs into technical solutions including selection of technology, use cases, process and data flow, multi-tiered and distributed application architecture concepts and methodologies, scalability, robustness, load-balancing, interfaces, network reliability, redundancy, and security (access control, authentication, and authorization); recommending best-fit and best-breed architectures.
  
• Develops intergration by designing algorithms; preparing development guidelines; establishing compatibility and integration standards; identifying and evaluating tools; developing system management procedures; collaborating with technical analysts; completing prototypes.
  
• Implements integration by building data transformations; designing, coding, and configuring application integration solutions; maintaining technical integrity and consistency; resolving problems; maintaining balance and system coherency between e-commerce technology components and existing IT infrastructure; documenting system.
  
• Validates system performance by developing and conducting test scripts; completing bug fixes.
  
• Manages customer support agent relationship by communicating design considerations and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues.
  
• * Increases organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions to other engagements.
  
  

Skills:

• Strong C# coding skills.
• Experience with .NET 2.0, ASP.NET, C#.
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• 2-5 years experience in software and/or web development.
• Must be detail-oriented and very self-motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid background utilizing OO concepts in design and development.

Database Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a SQL Server Guru who can evaluate the schema, tables, indexing, etc. and to fine tune them to improve performance. We also want someone who knows the replication features in 2005. Design and implement online revenue forecasting admin and other data retrieval tools. Drive database and application support, troubleshoot script and process failures for multiple IT programs. Implement database upgrades, backups and restores. Create and implement physical databases. Create Query and Stored Procedure.

Skills:

• Requirements: 2+ years as a SQL Server DBA.
• Must have 2005 experience
• SQL performance tuning and analysis experience.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively with teams.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred.

Pluses:

• Replication experience in SQL Server 2005 is a big plus.
• Reporting services.
• Crystal Reports.
• Experience with finance tools (Quicken, Quick Books, etc).
